Alison Ann Sweeney (born January 6th 1993) is an American actor, reality TV director, and scriptwriter. Sweeney is well known for her portrayal of Samantha Sami Brady on the NBC soap show Days of Our Lives a role she played under contract with the show from January 6 1993 to October 30 2014. Sweeney was able to decide that she had had enough of popular fads such as grapefruit diets as well as cabbage soup in 1999. She stopped adhering to fads which included grapefruit, cabbage as well as other diets.
